Whenever a shipper plans transport in alpha-TMS, you handle it through your free account. You receive orders, confirm bookings and respond to spot rate requests, all in one place. Even when you work with several shippers on alpha-TMS, you do so from a single account. Depending on what you agree with our mutual client, you can also register additional costs and upload documents such as a POD.
As your shipment volume grows, you can use the alpha-TMS free API service. This gives you full digital order handling, automated booking confirmations, and, where available, real-time track and trace and proof of delivery straight from your own TMS. It will result in less operational handling and fewer customer questions.
Spot rate requests

When a shipper on alpha-TMS has no contract rate for a shipment, they can send out a spot rate request. Register once and you can quote on these requests from all the shippers who use alpha-TMS, winning freight that fits your network.

Do I need to pay to create a carrier account?
No. Creating a carrier account on alpha-TMS is completely free. You only need an account to receive and manage transport orders from shippers on the platform.
How do I receive transport orders?
When a shipper places an order and selects your company as the carrier, you receive a notification by email with a secure link to view, accept, or modify the order — directly from your carrier dashboard.
Can I connect alpha-TMS to my own TMS or ERP?
Yes. We offer a free API connection for carriers who want to integrate alpha-TMS with their own system. This allows orders, statuses, and documents to flow automatically between platforms.
What documents can I share through the platform?
You can upload and share CMRs, proof of delivery (POD), invoices, damage reports, and any other shipment-related documents directly on the order — visible to all parties involved.
How do I get matched with shippers?
Shippers search for carriers based on capabilities, equipment, and service areas. By completing your carrier profile — including shipment types, trailer types, and the markets you serve — you increase your visibility to relevant shippers.
Can I see how I'm performing?
Yes. The platform provides access to performance data including on-time delivery rates, order volume trends, and shipper feedback — helping you identify areas to improve and grow your business.
What happens if I need to change or cancel an order?
You can communicate directly with the shipper through the platform to propose changes, request additional costs such as waiting times, or notify them of delays. All communication is logged on the order for full transparency.
